The Gold Food for Life Served Here award is a fantastic achievement, so it’s brilliant to see Tall Trees Kindergarten gaining recognition for serving great fresh meals made with seasonal, local and organic ingredients. Serving menus to the gold award standards can significantly reduce carbon emissions and supports local businesses, so this is a win-win for planet-friendly food and the local economy – not to mention the great start children attending this nursery are getting in terms of healthy food. Tall Trees Kindergarten is leading the way in the drive to improve food culture in the UK.

James Cashmore, Director,
Soil Association (Food for Life)
I visited Tall Trees Kindergarten having heard of its reputation to see for myself their work at first hand. The application of their philosophy of learning through play is outstanding. There is a passionate commitment from all staff I met to look to the best interests of children by providing opportunities for inclusive, interactive and constructive play indoors and especially outdoors even in inclement weather! It was a delight to see these confident, inquisitive children immersed in their learning-related activities in an innovative, healthy environment, and the approach is clearly meeting the expectations of highly supportive parents. Tall Trees provides an unrivalled spring-board for life-long learning.
